Web4 — the next big thing

web1 was inception: it marked the initial stage of the internet where content was primarily static, serving as a digital library where users could access information created by website owners. That era focused essentially on establishing a read-only web. Web2 was the great leap forward: it brought about a significant shift towards interactivity, empowering users to not only consume content but also to create, share, and engage with it through platforms like social media, blogs, and interactive applications. This evolution transformed the internet into a dynamic and collaborative space, fostering two-way communication and user-generated content. Web3 was a scheme to steal the “Web” concept, by attaching a 3 to it. the name caught. but nothing else (cheap money ended, and a new tech not web, emerged)
